Freundlich Law

Freundlich Law is a preeminent business and entertainment litigation boutique that prides itself on giving its clientele personal attention while delivering high-quality legal services in a cost-effective manner.

Founding Partner Kenneth D. Freundlich has been actively involved in the entertainment industry—from the courtroom to the boardroom and back to the courtroom—for nearly 30 years. Ken began his career at Lavely & Singer in Los Angeles, where he handled litigation matters involving high profile celebrities. He also had a boutique law firm in New York City in the 90's representing artist, record producers, songwriters, film makers and small record labels. During the height of the dot-com era, Ken was recruited to become Executive Vice President of Atomic Pop, where his duties included business development for this early digital record label. Following Ken's Atomic Pop tenure, Ken returned to litigation practice where he currently represents preeminent clients (both individuals and companies) in cutting-edge matters.

The Freundlich Law team's expertise includes pre-litigation and litigation matters involving:

  • General Business Litigation
  • Artist-Manager Disputes/Talent Agencies Act
  • Royalty Accounting

In addition to being an attorney licensed in California and New York, Ken also has an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management and high-level corporate experience. This enables Freundlich Law to approach each matter it handles with a sensitivity and understanding of the business realities faced by its clients. Moreover, Freundlich Law frequently represents clients in disputes that involve complex accounting and financial issues.
